As part of the activities marking the 2025 Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the 2Ns Achoribo Foundation organized a Breast Cancer Awareness and Screening Program at Saduase KKMA JHS on Friday, 24th October 2025. The initiative formed part of the Foundation’s ongoing commitment to promote early detection, educate young people on breast health and support the fight against breast cancer in schools and communities.
This program targeted students from JHS1 to JHS3 and teachers. The main objectives were to:

Fire Education Project

The 2Ns Achoribo Foundation, in collaboration with personnels from the Ghana National Fire Service, organised a fire safety education program at St. Agnes Catholic Basic School, Dodowa on Friday, 16th May 2025. The initiative aimed to educate students and staff on fire hazards, prevention, and safety measures within the school environment.

During the session, insightful talks on the causes of fire outbreaks, preventive measures and the importance of emergency preparedness were delivered. Practical demonstrations were also conducted showing participants various methods of extinguishing fires, including the use of sand and fire extinguishers. Students actively participated and had the opportunity to practice the techniques demonstrated.

Menstrual Health Project

The 2Ns Achoribo Foundation supported a menstrual health program organized by Valley View University Hospital following a request for assistance by the Health Promotion Officer of the public health department (Kafui Lawson) in providing sanitary pads for students. The foundation donated 6 boxes of sanitary pads and participated in the event.

The program aimed to educate students on menstrual hygiene, break stigmas surrounding menstruation, and promote confidence among young girls. Health professionals gave talks on proper menstrual care and pad usage, after which the donated pads were distributed to participants.

The foundation’s presence was greatly appreciated and contributed to the success of the event.

The 2Ns Achoribo Foundation remains committed to promoting girl-child health and empowerment through such impactful initiatives.

Project at Ayenya Basic School

Following the foundation’s launch, the 2Ns Achoribo Foundation, in partnership with the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) on March 14, 2025, conducted a project at Ayenya Basic School to facilitate the renewal, new registration, and replacement of insurance cards for both the children and community members. Recognizing that financial constraints make accessing the NHIS office challenging for many of these children, and with a commitment to promoting public health, this initiative was deemed essential.

During the event, 2Ns Achoribo delivered tailored health talks: we discussed the menstrual cycle with the girls and covered personal hygiene topics with the boys. Additionally, 107 girls received sanitary pads along with guidance on their proper use and disposal to prevent infections, while 143 boys were provided with deodorants.
A total of 218 children were enrolled in the NHIS during the project, and the school was further supplied with two boxes of sanitary pads for future use. The event was graced by a representative of the Director of Education from Shai Osudoku District, teachers, school heads, a team from NHIS, media representatives, community members, and my team, making it a resounding success.

Additionally, educational support was provided, with 500 students receiving books and other learning materials. 2Ns Achoribo Foundation Journey

The 2Ns Achoribo Foundation had a modest beginning in 2020, initially focusing on supporting local orphanages.

Over the past four years, our commitment to service has been demonstrated through voluntary donations to these orphanages, reflecting our dedication to uplifting those in need and fostering hope and support within our community. In 2025, the 2Ns Achoribo Foundation was formally registered under the Laws of Ghana as a Non-Profit Organization, with a focus on promoting health, ensuring community safety in Ghana, and serving vulnerable groups, particularly children, women, and individuals with specific needs.

Our mission includes helping individuals and communities maintain good health and protecting them from health-related threats. Through our public health outreach programs and the distribution of hygiene and educational kits, we work to protect and improve communities by preventing the spread of diseases and promoting healthy lifestyles in clean and safe environments. The 2Ns Achoribo Foundation is committed to closing the gap of inequality and promoting equal opportunities for children, women, and individuals with specific needs.

Supporting street children, orphans, and underprivileged children at Rays of Hope Center !!!

Rays of Hope Center, a sanctuary for street children, orphans, and the underprivileged, aligns seamlessly with the mission of 2Ns Achoribo Foundation. Demonstrating our commitment to supporting those in need, 2Ns Achoribo Foundation visited the center, on December 16, 2024; where we were graciously received by both the staff and children.

Following introductions, the 2Ns Achoribo Foundation delivered a presentation on personal hygiene, engaging the children in an interactive session. The children participated enthusiastically, posing numerous questions, all of which were addressed satisfactorily. As part of our support, we donated essential supplies, including bags of rice, gallons of oil, boxes of tomato purée, spaghetti, detergents, brooms, scrubbing brushes, and clean drinking water. It was a truly memorable day, filled with learning, laughter, and the joy of giving.
